Over the last few weeks Leo and I have been traveling the region catching up and discussing your organizational and individual needs.

It was great to meet up with Tracey who is a newbie to technology and Evelyn who is a seasoned e-leader at Buchan Neighborhood House  where we discussed two individual projects. Evelyn is looking into ways to use and create digital photography to eliminate the paperwork that she stores as Pamphlets in her organization. She will trial uploading the information to a digital photo frame. This  is an excellent idea and could certainly become a useful model for other organizations. Tracey the newbie to technology is keen to learn how to make her office administration work so much easier to handle and aggregate.

I met with Karen and Janine at the Paynesville Neighborhood Center who are both  newbies to technology and straight away we set up an organizational  WordPress website  as they do not have one. We also set up  a facebook  page for promotional and marketing purposes and linked them to the acenetwork.
These first steps have started their organizations digital footprint. Both set up a Gmail account to access information for the project.

It  was also great to catch up with Sharon and Jan at Noweyung who now have ipads and tablets purchased recently that they wish to learn about once their new internet system is up and running. Again they were encouraged to join the ace network and join us all at DigitalGippsland and are keen to learn more about WordPress. Glenda from Noweyung started her  journey last year and this year she has invited her colleagues to join the project  to move to the next step.

Kind Regards

It really is up to you on that one. I am using windows 7 and still XP in my PC which will be undated to a new one soon. I haven’t given much thought to windows 8 but quite happy to investigate it for you. I know I have a number of people within my network that have moved to windows 8. Be in touch very soon about this
    Regards
    Junita
