GEST building capacity

May 20, 2013

GEST are undertaking a capacity building project that will flip a number of there courses and offer a blended delivery using wikis and blogs.
A number of the staff are now having weekly webinars as part of the e-Mentor project and my role as e-Mentor for the region.
I have been able to put a team together to help them reach their new goals and develop their instructional design. The Model the team will use to deliver this is face to face support and online training using Blackboard collaborate now with Microsoft Lync in the future. We have set up a section in the e-mentor Moodle that will accommodate their self directed Learning and a place to reflect.
The actual blended courses will be accommodated in Wikispaces and classroom blogs.
Well done GEST foe such forward thinking.
